Requirements
Safe driving starts with our drivers. Drivers fulfill the following requirements:
- Screening Interview
- Valid & Clean Driver's License/License Abstract Search
- Past Employment/Personal Reference Check
- Drug & Alcohol Check
- Sex Offender Registry Check
- Fingerprinting and Criminal History Check
- Medical & Physical Performance Check
- Road Test
- Safety Training
- CPR, AED, First Aid Training
- Beyond Car Seat Safety: Keeping Children Safe in and around Cars Training
Safe driving also starts with a safe vehicle. Drivers fulfill the following Vehicle Check: Routine
We adhere to NYS DMV Vehicle Regulations. All vehicles must pass the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Inspection List which includes:
- Seatbelts (Parents provide Child Seat according to NYS Seatbelt Laws
- Tires & Tread
- Windshield & Windshield Wipers/Blades & All Other Glass/Windows
- Steering, Front End, Suspension, Chassis, Frame and Wheel Fasteners
- Brakes
- Horns
- Mirrors
- Safety Lights
- Battery
All vehicles must have current inspection.
All vehicles must have current registration.
All drivers must be insured.
All drivers take a Defensive Driving/Accident Prevention Course
